In this lesson, we will explore Titus 3:4–7 and discover how God’s goodness, love, and mercy are at the heart of our salvation. We will learn that we are not saved by our righteous deeds but by God’s mercy through Jesus Christ and the renewing work of the Holy Spirit. Because we have been justified by His grace, we are now heirs with the hope of eternal life. This lesson challenges us to respond to God’s grace with gratitude, humility, and transformed lives that testify to His goodness. Discussion questions 1. God’s Goodness: According to verses 4–5, what motivated God to save us? How does this truth affect the way you view His love for you? 2. Grace, Not Works: Why can our good works never earn our salvation? What is the difference between doing good works to be saved and doing good works because we are saved? 3. The Holy Spirit’s Work: What does it mean to be renewed by the Holy Spirit? How have you experienced His transforming work in your life? 4. Justified by Grace: What does it mean to be justified by God’s grace? How does this truth give us assurance when we struggle with guilt or failure? 5. Heirs of Eternal Life: How should the hope of eternal life influence the way we live today? 6. Personal Application: What is one practical way you can demonstrate God’s goodness and mercy to someone this week?
